Sid Bosworth is an Associate Extension Professor in the Plant and Soil Science Department at the University of Vermont (UVM) and serves as a specialist in agronomy for UVM Extension. Handout for this webinar About the Presenter Sid Bosworth will address several approaches to organic weed management, including weed species identification and their lifecycles. Weeds may also diminish the quality and palatability of the forage available for livestock grazing, and certain weed species are potentially poisonous to grazing animals. These unwanted plants can be more aggressive than existing or desired forage species and compete for light, water, and nutrients.
